Day 1:
Our favourite hotel on our tour programme! And when the sun shines, it’s hard to find anywhere more beautiful in Ireland.

The coach will stop with time for lunch and comfort stops enroute arriving into the stunning Parknasilla Resort just outside Sneem on the Ring of Kerry in the late afternoon. Our coach takes us right to the front door of the hotel, where we are welcomed by the hotel manager. The team of porters will take your luggage directly to your bedroom while you enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee.

A 4-course dinner is served in the hotel’s most elegant Pygmalion Dining room this evening. We dine as a group creating a perfect opportunity to meet and get to know your fellow travelling companions.

Day 2:
Following a delicious breakfast, why not join us on an included excursion along The Ring of Kerry, one of Ireland’s most scenic and iconic routes?

The coach will by-pass Killarney and travel onwards to Killorglin: the gateway to the Ring of Kerry. Sit back onboard your luxurious coach and admire the specular scenery this world-famous driving route offers. It’s a 100-mile round trip, taking us through charming towns such as Glenbeigh, Caherciveen and Waterville. See the mighty power of the Atlantic Ocean reaching our shores as you glaze across to Dingle and Ballinskelligs Bays. Bring your camera today as there will be ample time and opportunity to take some great photos.

Take a stroll through Waterville, a favourite holiday destination of legendary Hollywood star Charlie Chaplin. He came here first in the 1959 to go fly fishing on Lough Currane with his wife and eight children family and enjoyed it so much that he returned every year for 10 years.  In 1998 a life size bronze statue create by sculptor Alan Ryan Hall was unveiled depicting Charlie dressed as The Tramp, his most famous character.

Our final stop this afternoon is Sneem, a pretty and colourful village near our hotel, before returning to our hotel for dinner.

Day 3:
Enjoy a relaxing morning at our hotel. This hotel is one of our favourites on our tour programme. The grounds are extensive and have numerous trails for strolling through at your own pace. The hotel has a world-class spa, where you might like to indulge yourself in one of their spa treatments (additional costs apply). The hotel also has 3 external hot tubs, available to hotel residents, where you can sit and relax overlooking Kenmare Bay, or you may wish to relax in their thermal suite. The choice is endless, but the experience is fantastic!

In the early afternoon, the coach departs to the nearby town of Kenmare, one of the prettiest towns in Ireland and the perfect place to take a gentle stroll through.

We will then travel back to our hotel for dinner together this evening.

Day 4:
Following breakfast, we leave on an excursion to Killarney, the capital of tourism in Ireland and home to the exquisite natural beauty of a rugged and mountainous expanse in Killarney National Park. Our journey cuts through Moll’s Gap and Ladies View which offer breathtakingly beautiful of the Macgillcuddy Reeks and the Lakes of Killarney. We’ll stop for a photo stop at Ladies View, this was where in 1861 Queen Victoria’s Ladies-in-waiting would sit to admire the lakes and the wonderful vista.

Our awaiting horse-drawn jaunting car ride is a great way to experience this natural wonderland, including the 1,000-foot McGillycuddy’s Reeks, the highest mountain range in Ireland. Nestled at the foot of these mountains, the Lakes of Killarney’s shores and woodlands share this magical place with waterfalls and dramatic skies above Ross Castle.

Take some time to enjoy a stroll around the pretty & busy town of Killarney before boarding the coach and making our way back to Parknasilla Resort.

Dinner is at our hotel.

Day 5:
Following a leisurely breakfast, we check-out and depart homeward bound stopping at Blarney Woollen Mills in Blarney, Co Cork with time for a little shopping and lunch. We continue to our original pick-up points saying farewells to new found friends.

*** PLEASE NOTE ***

Parknasilla Resort & Spa is a beautiful old hotel, steeped in history, but has not lift access in the main accommodation wing. This can prove to be a problem for guests travelling with mobility issues and needs to be well considered before making a reservation. There is a limited number of accessible rooms in this hotel, which tend to book out early.

Our accommodation is in the deluxe hotel and not the lodges / self-catering houses.

We can also offer upgrades to the main house for €75 per room, per night and are subject to availability at the time of booking.
