An early start this morning as we make our way, by coach, to Belfast Port to board our ferry to Cairnryan in Scotland.
The sailing takes 2.5 hours and the ship has a range of relaxing lounges, restaurants and bars onboard.
We continue on our journey through Scotland to our hotel.

We dine as a group creating a perfect opportunity to meet and get to know your fellow travelling companions.

Day 2:

Following breakfast, our first stop today is Tarbert where we meet Stuart for a delightful Cruise of bonnie Loch Lomond, with panoramic views shadowed by towering peaks of the Southern Highlands. This relaxing 1 hour cruise is the perfect way to see the loch whatever the weather.

The afternoon is spent at Inveraray Castle, overlooking Loch Fyne and nestled amongst beautiful gardens, this sprawling castle is the ancestral home of the Duke of Argyll, Chief of the Clan Campbell and the iconic must-see visitor attraction on the West Coast of Scotland.  We enjoy a guided tour of the house with some free time to explore the beautiful gardens.

We’ll return to our hotel for dinner.

Day 3:

Our stop today is the City of St Andrews (named after Scotland’s Patron Saint), home to the oldest University in Scotland, at nearly 600 years old and the third oldest in Britain.
The town is surrounded by history and we’ll meet our superb local tour guide who will take you on a gently paced walking tour of this beautiful city.

We’ll return to our hotel for dinner this evening.

Day 4:

We’ll visit The Royal Yacht Britannia docked at Ocean Terminal in Edinburgh.
Enjoy your time wandering around this historic ship.

Our day continues with a visit to the magnificent cultural city of Edinburgh. We’ll enjoy a fantastic panoramic city tour of Edinburgh with our local step-on tour guide, showcasing the very best of this stunning city.

Dinner is included in Edinburgh today before attending Scotland’s world famous Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
It’s a spectacular show held in the grounds of Edinburgh Castle, every year. The floodlit Castle itself forms a spectacular backdrop for the thousand musician, pipers, drummers, singers and dancers performing in the Esplanade.
The Tattoo itself is a unique and memorable celebration of pageantry and is one of Scotland’s most famous tourist attractions, staged every year as part of the world-famous Edinburgh Festival.

At the end of a fabulous evening, our coach will collect us and take us back to our hotel.

Day 5:

Relax this morning and have a lie-in. Our late morning departure take us to Glasgow, where we will meet Ross, our step-on tour guide for a gentle tour around the city, which will end at Kelvingrove Art Gallery.

In the early evening, join your travelling companions for a farewell drinks reception and final dinner together at our hotel.

Day 6:

Following breakfast, we check out and travel to Cairnryan Port and cross the Irish Sea, taking the 1130 hrs sailing to Belfast Port and onwards to our original pick-up points with wonderful memories of our time visiting Scotland.
