Overnight in Slieve Donard Hotel.
Slieve Donard Hotel, Newcastle, Co. Down
Nestling at the foot of the Mountains of Mourne, the Slieve Donard Hotel is Northern Ireland’s favourite holiday hotel and celebrated its Centenary in 1997. The hotel stands in six acres of private grounds which lead to an extensive golden strand and to the world famous Royal County Down Golf Club.
Day 2 - Play the Royal Co. Down Golf Links
The Royal County Down is a pure links, and a pure gem. Many rate the outward half as the best first nine holes anywhere. Straight hitting is required and the penalties for missing are severe. Caddies are recommended at Royal County Down as several of the tee-shots are blind.

Day 3 - Portstewart Golf Club
On the north coast is Portstewart golf club. In the shadows of the reputation of its near neighbour Royal Portrush, Portstewart is nevertheless a truly great links golf course. The Strand Course combines magical scenery with a classic links layout along 2 miles of golden sandy beach.
Overnight in Bushmills Inn.
Bushmills Inn, 9 Dunluce Road, Bushmills Co Antrim, BT57 8QG
Rescued from near dereliction in 1988 by the present owner, this faithfully restored coaching inn and adjoining mill house, at the home of the world's oldest distillery, has become one of Ireland's 'must visit' hotels.

Intriguing fireplaces, oil lamps, nooks, crannies and even a secret room set the tone. In the bar, still lit by gas light, try a glass of Bushmills malt from the hotels private cask or relax in a rocking chair in front of the gentle glow of a turf fire in the smoke aged 'old kitchen'. The award winning restaurant, blending 'new Irish' cuisine with the finest North Antrim produce, overlooks the garden courtyard and contrasts intimate 'snugs' with white washed walls and warm mellow brick with well aged timbers.
Day 4 - Royal Portrush
The Dunluce course at Royal Portrush is one of the great golf courses of the world. The venue for the only Open Championship ever to be held in Ireland (1951), Royal Portrush consistently features in all major golf course rankings. Many consider the Dunluce links to be the finest golf experience in Ireland and the course is always in excellent condition.
Overnight in Bushmills Inn, Bushmills.
Day 5 - Castlerock Golf Club
This is the third of three classic links courses within a few miles of each other along the northern coast, and though often regarded as the poor relation it justifiably claims a place in the list of great Irish links courses. A classic links with superb seaside views, Castlerock will provide a great opener to this links golf tour. Overnight in Bushmills.

Day 6 - Portmarnock Golf Club
Another of Ireland's golf links that is consistently rated as one of the world's best. Portmarnock occupies a magnificently desolate piece of land at the end of a peninsula. Magnificent scenery, as tranquil a golf setting as you'll find, and a magnificent golf course all combine to make Portmarnock a truly memorable experience.
